It's May!
Juan Cahua came back from SF to feed us again! He Rocks!! And Marcelo came too! Good guys!

MOMMA!!!

It is so crazy that it's already May!! So I don't know if you have already sent that birthday package but if not could you send a (in order of importance) 1.pocket knife or multitool 2. Jesus The Christ (but in spanish) 3.maybe an mp3 player if you're feeling charitable 4. No more crazy socks!! I love them I just have too much for the amount of time I cant wear them. But I am excited to get this toy thing business you're talking about, it sounds pretty mysterious! Just so you know I am staying in Richmond for the next six weeks (our address 3400 Richmond Pkwy apt #514)! Elder tackett and I stay so that will be cool! Things between us are good for the most part, but I honestly wouldn't have minded a change hehe..

Crazy to see Mase cut his hair!! It was so beautiful and luscious! I am going to miss getting pics of that haha! But he does look good! I got a haircut today too and It is crazy short! Not gonna lie I like my hair a bit longer than it is but it's all good, it'll grow back one day!

Glad to hear that you are recovering so well and I'm sorry to hear you have to go through it again, but I'm sure it will all be worth it! I will try and read that talk when I get the chance! Miss you guys so much!

Story time: So some crazy stuff went down just the past couple of days, everyone is fine. One of the investigators of the English Elders texted them saying that she was basically done with life so the four of us went over sometime after dinner to try and see what was wrong and if we could help out. We get there to her trailer in this trailer park and she answers the door,"You can come in but I'm not going to change my mind," She had decided that she was going to kill herself, we weren't sure when but it was probably that night. so we went in and talked to her for a while and she has gone through a lot of stuff, she was abused as a child in foster care and has been divorced and her son says he doesn't love her and all of her family has kind of just left her so she lives alone with about 10 birds that are like her children and only purpose for living. Last week was her birthday and nobody messaged her or anything and she was getting kicked out of her trailer the next day. She felt like God abandoned her and hated her. She felt like God always gave her false hope of happiness and then would always take it away from her and this was the last straw, so we talked for a long while and calmed her down a little bit and then Elder Tackett and I went and got her a cake to celebrate her birthday while the other elders stayed with her so she wasn't alone (don't leave suicidal people alone). We left to get the cake and immediately started calling people to see what we should do and we got a number for a suicide hotline which basically told us what to do if things went south but we were hoping things wouldn't do that. So we brought back a cake and celebrated her birthday properly, we talked a lot about God and Jesus Christ and by the end of the night she was doing a lot better than when we had arrived, she even took a picture of us to post it for her birthday. That was all on Saturday night. Sunday night she was getting kicked out of her trailer so we went over and told her we were going to help her move, she clearly didn't have any plans of where to go or how to get there so we took all of her stuff to the chapel to leave it there while a member bought her a night at a motel nearby. And today she was moved out of the motel and I am not sure what the plan is for her tonight but the English elders are on that so fingers crossed prayers go out to her and the Elders. She is trying to move to Utah but doesn't have a way to get there so ya. That is the story for the month haha crazy stuff  but good experiences! Pictures will come soon!! Love you!!
